29 Faces, furry face

I guess I don't really rise to challenges over the weekend ;o) I did do a quick pencil sketch of George the furry person last night so that will have to do... I hate the new inbuilt scanner that came with my printer. Couldn't face dealing with it last night as still I haven't figured out how to bypass it's own rather basic scanning software so that I can import direct to Photoshop. I need to get my head round it so that I go back to drawing by hand. More later...

Oh, lovely. They say cats are notoriously difficult to draw and I agree - but you have captured this just perfectly (purrfectly? sorry).
Oh, scanners and printers! I've managed to keep to separate ones but I fear that next time I need to replace either I'll find separates difficult to source. I have the added problem in limited and very carefully designated desk space for both items, which currently allows me to to move my scanner a short distance onto a fold out table each time I need to do scan big spreads... which is rather often... An all-in-one would really pose problems. I hate the way we have to adapt to the technology available rather than have it adapt to what we need!
Good luck with yours.

Thank you both :o) He normally has such a round baby face but he had been sleeping with his arms up over his head and when he moved he had this pointy little face, so cute :o)

C, it's so flipping annoying the way all technology seems to be geared to "hobby" users these days, Macs and all the stuff that went with them, were developed specifically with the creative professions in mind and cornered the market.... but now they have the mass market interest they seem to have forgotten us! We need software and systems that are hugely adaptable and customisable so each user can tailor them to the specific way they work, it used to be that way, but increasingly I feel we are all expected to be square pegs. This Scanner software puts flowery borders and equally inane things onto my scans? WHY??? Why does is it so eager to do such banal things and yet I can't figure out how to get it to scan cleanly? Ggggrrr!!!
